Dear Lifeline:
I wanted to take a moment to let you know how much
I appreciate Kevin's assistance to me over the past
week in assessing the medical condition of Joseph Goforth.
Without his assistance here I would not have known the
questions to ask and responses to expect. Joe had been
over medicating from the beginning and without his knowledge
I would not have known. Our medical profession here
is not exactly of the highest quality and we don't always
get what we need. Most people who have medical problems
return to the mainland for any assistance.
That being said, I had no idea that Joe would start
down a road that would not allow him to be able to travel
at the time we expected. There is no way to know that
even now. Should he ever be able to make the trip and
go into recovery it will be after the doctors here release
him to an outpatient clinic and at that time he will
be medically able to travel or get into a recovery program.
Kevin took a real interest in this case. He will have
my thanks always. I know he is a tremendous asset to
your facility.
Again, please accept my sincere thanks for allowing
Kevin a few extra days.
Sincerely,
Anita
